The CINE project has one main goal.

‘See the Past, Imagine the Future’

To do this we use various technologies and web tools to help visualise heritage and create engaging experiences.

CINE has three main project objectives

  • to protect, develop and promote natural and cultural heritage
  • to improve accessibility to valuable heritage information
  • to strengthen identities of remote areas by knowledge transfer.

As you explore the timeline of Inch Island’s heritage you will see how how this work and objectives are realised on the ground with communities in the project area.

In Ireland we are focused on community co-production. Empowering communities to co-create their heritage. This website and the collected history is a demonstration of the rich heritage and amazing outputs that can be achieved as a collective community.
